FOSTER THE PEOPLE PARTNERS WITH ‘DO GOOD’ AGAIN TO INSPIRE FANS TO VOLUNTEER

NATIONAL (May 15, 2012) - Foster The People is partnering again with the Do Good team to provide a unique volunteer experience for fans and local residents throughout their upcoming North American summer tour (see link below).  In addition to making a difference by volunteering, Do Good will partner with local charities and communities to help spread the message of Saving The Arts.

This is Foster The People’s second touring effort to inspire fans to volunteer and give back where they live. “The response and commitment from our fans last summer was truly inspiring and beyond our expectations.” says Mark Foster.   “So this year we wanted to challenge the Do Good team to find unique ways to get even more people involved and make an even bigger impact in each city.”

In response to the challenge, Do Good is creating bigger events to accommodate more helping hands and show the power of working together to make a difference.  The team has also created an art-inspired theme across the tour in an effort to bring awareness to the importance of Saving The Arts.

Beginning May 26 in San Diego, CA and ending July 7 in Las Vegas, NV, local do gooders and Foster The People fans will take action and give back in their communities.  Volunteer projects will range from school restoration missions to large-scale community art projects all while keeping in the Do Good team’s tradition of having fun and creating community.
